GEME Limited Warranty and Commercial Guarantee
Official commercial coverage for eligible new GEME machines.

1. Additional Protection
This is a voluntary limited warranty and commercial guarantee provided by ROKH SRL. It is additional to, and does not replace, restrict or shorten, any statutory legal guarantee, implied warranty, durability right or consumer remedy available under applicable law.
You may have rights against the seller even where this commercial guarantee has expired or does not apply.

3. Eligible Products
This Warranty applies to eligible new GEME machines purchased directly from gemebio.com or from an authorised GEME retailer or marketplace seller, provided that valid proof of the original purchase is available.
During the stated commercial warranty period, the Warranty follows the eligible machine. A later owner may make a claim if valid proof of the original purchase and lawful transfer is available and the machine remains in a supported service region.
GEME Titans and other commercial products may be governed by a quotation or signed sales contract. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected where the purchaser legally qualifies as a consumer.
4. Standard Commercial Warranty Period
Unless a longer period is expressly stated in the product offer or order confirmation, GEME provides the following standard commercial warranty:
- European Union and European Economic Area: 2 years from delivery;
- United Kingdom: 2 years from delivery; and
- Other supported markets: 1 year from delivery.
Where applicable law provides longer, additional or more favourable mandatory protection, that protection remains fully available.
5. When Coverage Begins
Coverage begins on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser.
A repair or replacement does not restart the entire GEME commercial-warranty period unless GEME expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires an extension, restart or separate coverage period.
6. What This Warranty Covers
During the applicable period, GEME warrants that the covered product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use consistent with the product manual, safety instructions, electrical and environmental requirements, permitted inputs, stated capacity, duty cycle and maintenance guidance.
7. Available Remedy
After reasonable diagnosis, GEME may, where permitted by law:
- provide troubleshooting, software or configuration support;
- send a user-installable replacement component;
- repair the product;
- replace it with the same or an equivalent product; or
- provide another remedy required by applicable law.
Where repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, unsuccessful or not completed within a reasonable time, additional remedies may apply under local law.
Replacement products or parts may be new or professionally refurbished where permitted by law and of equivalent reliability and functionality.
8. Warranty Service Costs and Route
For an accepted covered claim, GEME covers the reasonable approved cost of diagnosis, covered parts, labour, and standard return or collection required to provide the warranty remedy.
GEME determines the reasonable service route, which may include remote diagnosis, a user-installable module, local depot service, collection, repair or replacement.
Do not independently ship a large machine. Shipping or logistics arranged independently are not reimbursable unless GEME approved them in advance or reimbursement is required by law.
If inspection finds no covered defect, or the issue was caused by an excluded event, we may offer a paid repair or return. Any charge will be disclosed before chargeable work or return shipment. Nothing in this section permits a charge for a remedy that must be provided free of charge under applicable law.
9. What Is Not Covered
This commercial warranty does not cover a problem to the extent that it was caused by:
- accident, impact, fire, flooding or external damage;
- incorrect voltage, electrical supply or unsuitable installation;
- use contrary to the manual or safety instructions;
- prohibited materials or foreign objects;
- deliberate misuse or neglect;
- use outside the rated capacity, duty cycle or permitted use class stated for the relevant model;
- failure to carry out required routine maintenance;
- unauthorised modification, tampering or repair that caused the problem;
- non-GEME parts or consumables that caused the problem;
- cosmetic wear that does not affect function;
- normal depletion of a consumable or service-life component; or
- loss or theft.
An independent repair, third-party part or opened enclosure does not automatically cancel all warranty or statutory rights. Coverage may be refused only to the extent that the claimed damage was caused by the relevant unauthorised work, part or modification.
10. Consumables
Kobold and other consumables are not covered for depletion, normal use, activation, microbial variation or expected consumption. They remain protected by mandatory rights relating to defects, safety, misdescription or non-conformity.
11. How to Make a Claim
Contact info@gemebio.com and provide proof of purchase, model and serial number, a description of the issue, photographs or video where reasonably requested, and relevant diagnostic information.
Do not ship the product until GEME provides the appropriate service or return instructions.
12. Diagnosis and Inspection
We may carry out remote diagnosis or inspect the product. You must provide reasonable cooperation and safe access to the information needed to assess the claim.
13. Data and Product Preparation
Before sending a connected product for service, remove personal content where possible and follow the preparation instructions supplied by GEME.
Service may require reset, replacement or deletion of local configuration data. Personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
14. GEME Care and Registration Benefits
GEME Care, a registration bonus or promotional extension is separate from this standard commercial warranty. Its duration, eligibility and services are governed by the applicable GEME Care Terms or promotion terms.
Product registration is not required to preserve statutory rights or this standard commercial warranty.
15. Remaining Coverage After Service
A repaired or replacement product remains covered for the remaining original commercial-warranty period or any longer minimum period required by applicable law.
16. Limitations
To the extent permitted by law, this commercial guarantee is limited to the remedies stated above.
Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory statutory guarantees, product-liability rights, or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury where applicable.
17. Governing Law
This Warranty is governed by Belgian law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection available under applicable local law.
18. Policy Copy and Version
This Warranty is made available before purchase. A copy will be provided with the order confirmation or delivery documentation in a form that the customer can save and retain.
The version in effect when the covered product was purchased normally governs the commercial guarantee. A later version will not retroactively reduce confirmed coverage or benefits.
